This Blog is all about vaginas and topics of discussion that are hot! No this is not about the "Vagina Monologues", but it does get pretty bloosom-pot-ish or habenero firey hot!
First off raise your hand if you ever had a Yoni steaming? Lol, I can see you raising your hand but you can certainly respond to this blog by sharing your thoughts!
Please save the negativity for your therapist, psychiatrist or... Hmm! Think about that a moment.
This platform is for enlightening and elevation. Think about it this way, if you are enlightened it is gaining knowledge. Gaining knowledge leads to a new level of learning, which is elevation. I think you get my point!
So I tried the Yoni steaming once then twice. I absolutely loved how I felt afterwards. I had some clear watery discharge for a day or so afterwards and I attributed this to have impurities removed from my vaginal canal. I
I did not suffer burns as some Western medical journal have claimed could occur. I am not saying someone can not get burned, but that was not the case for me.
As a nurse with a wholistic/holistic background, I prefer natural/homeopathic ways of healing than the a Western perspective of treatment.
I believe treatment and healing are not synonymous terms and while treatment is necessary, treatment in the Western world of medicine does not always lead to healing.
I believe heaing encompasses treatment as well as a connection to the mind, body and spirit.
Mine, your, our bloosom pot has a purspose and it should be nutured, cared for and loved just like the rest of our body, mind and spirit.
The Experience: I went to a holistic practitioner in New York. I was asked prior to the visit to wear a loose fitting dress (a maxi dress) and to bring a change of clean underwear to wear after the Yoni steaming (white cottong panties preferably).
Some women don't wear panties. That is a topic for another blog. To wear or not wear panties? That is the question.
I was instructed by the practitioner to sit on a wooden bench with a hole in the center. Under the seat of the bench was a pot of herbs that was steaming. The pot was approximately 12 inches from my bloosom pot. It was hot enough to feel comfortable to the skin but not hot enought cause me to burn.
